The Friends of the Library are preparing for their book sale on October 25th and will be accepting items from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Easton Library in the Frederick Douglass Room.

For children ages 8-16. Learn and play chess! Snacks will be provided. Registration is required.

Event is held at the St. Michaels Community Center. Learn how to preserve your family's history by writing and sharing your stories. This week's topic is 'Book Stores'.

Master Gardeners will have an information table set up in the lobby. Stop by to ask any of your gardening questions.

Make art with visiting artist Sheryl Southwick. For ages 13 and up. Pizza and snacks served. Registration required. 

The meeting will be held in the Easton Library Meeting Room. The book that will be discussed is the One Maryland One book choice, "What Storm, What Thunder" by Myriam J. A. Chancy.

Save the date for the Friends of the Talbot County Free Library 50th anniversary celebration of Bowling Bash for Books. Event held at Easton Bowl located at 101 Marlboro Ave in Easton. Further details forthcoming.

Join Mikaela Boley, University of Maryland Extension Agent, as she leads a workshop on the basics of seed saving. Following the presentation, attendees can clean and take seeds home. Event is free and open to the public.

The St. Michaels Book Club will meet at the St. Michaels Community Center on the third Wednesday of the month at 3:30 p.m. The book discussed for October is, "American Ramble: A Walk of Memory and Renewal" by Neil King.
