The St. Michaels library branch will be closed today so that staff can work at the 10th Annual Chesapeake Children's Book Festival happening at the Easton library.  Join us for a day of fun!

Fun for all ages! Kick off summer reading at the Chesapeake Children’s Book Festival! Children who sign up and attend will receive one free book (while supplies last) from the attending author of their choice.

Do you want to learn more about computers and tablets? Do you want to hone your computer skills? Learn the basics of using a computer and mouse, creating an email, and other programs through hands-on activities each week.

Talbot Green Hands will have an information table set up in the lobby. They take direct actions that provide environmental benefits in the Talbot County community, such as clean-ups, plantings, community gardens, composting programs and more.

Listen to stories, sing to live music, and create a craft!  For children 5 and under, accompanied by an adult.

For ages 8-16. Learn and play chess! Snacks will be provided. Registration is required.

Have you ever wanted to sign to communicate? The Talbot County Free Library is pleased to present a free, four-week series in beginner American Sign Language: June 23, June 30, July 7, and July 14 from 6-7:30 PM at the Easton Library.

Enjoy story time and a craft at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum!  For children 5 and under, accompanied by an adult.  Registration is required for free admission to the museum.

For children in grades K-5. This multilingual program is an entertaining, international, dynamic program that weaves the power of dance, theatre, music and storytelling together.

Create a bookmark using a variety of materials!  For children & teens ages 6-18 (children 8 and under, accompanied by an adult).  Registration is required.  This event will be held at the St. Michaels Community Center.
