The Friends of the Library are preparing for their book sale on March 27th and 28th and will be accepting items from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Easton Library in the Frederick Douglass Room.

Join University of Maryland Extension Educator, Rachel Rhodes, to learn about simple plant propagation techniques and common house plants to duplicate. 

For children ages 7-12. Read and discuss selected book of the month. This month we are reading Charlotte's Web by E.B. White.  Snack and craft will be provided. Registration is required.

Join us for the grand opening of the St. Michaels Library Branch at 106 Fremont St., St. Michaels!

For children ages 5-10. Read with Janet and her dog, Coco! Bring your own book or pick out a book at the library. No registration necessary.

Join us for an evening of community spirit and poetry in a neighborhood setting. All are welcome and no experience is necessary. We will find our voice creating poems that tell our story – the much loved “I Am” poem and the Haiku.

In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Talbot Historical Society presents “Historical Women of the Eastern Shore” with Kathy Marconi. Most history books on Maryland’s Eastern Shore talk about the men who have shaped our communities.

Join us for the next installment of the Talbot County Garden Club's Free Winter Lecture Series. We welcome Kirk R. Brown, garden historian and designer, who will bring to life John Bartram, the "Father of American Botany."

For ages 8-16. Learn and play chess! Snacks will be provided. Registration is required.

The Talbot County Free Library Friends book sale will be in the Main Meeting room from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.  Stop by and see a wide selection of books and DVDs and help support the library. 

Join us Saturday at 10am for STEAM story time!  For children ages 2-5. Engaging and interactive story time with a focus on science.

The Memoir Writer’s Group has been meeting in St. Michaels for over 20 years. Twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th Thursday, the group meets to share narratives on various topics.

The April TEDI selection is As Long as Grass Grows: The Indigenous Fight for Environmental Justice, from Colonization to Standing Rock by Dina Gilio-Whitaker.

This STEM event is for children in grades 1-4. Tomato gardening. Sponsored by the Talbot County Garden Club. Please register by Monday, April 13.
