Learn about the Maryland 400 soldiers who fought at the Battle of Brooklyn to save George Washington’s army as a part of the celebration Colonel Tench Tilghman Week. Talbot County’s Tench Tilghman was Washington’s longest-serving aide-de-camp and stood by his side in nearly every battle from August 1776 until 1783.
