We welcome speaker Timothy Walker who will present "Sailing to Freedom: Recovering and Re-centering the Maritime Dimension of the Underground Railroad". Dr. Walker, Professor of History at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, will highlight little-known stories of freedom-seeking by sea. Event is sponsored by the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and the Talbot County Free Library and is free and open to the public.
