About Tony:

In the Pantheon of music industry greats, few names echo with the same lasting impact as Tony Michaelides. For over three decades he wasn't just part of the music scene, he helped shape it. Working behind the scenes he built one of the UK's most respected promotion companies, quietly guiding the rise of some of the biggest names in music. His Rolodex reads like a Hall of Fame, David Bowie, U2, The Police, Whitney Houston, Depeche Mode, New Order, Peter Gabriel, Bob Marley, Genesis, Annie Lennox, Simply Red,The Stone Roses etc helping turn them into international icons. He also played an integral role in the early development of U2, working extensively with them and getting them their first network TV and national radio session.

In 1984 he became a prominent radio personality hosting his own show ‘The Last Radio Program’ where he championed emerging talent earning him Sony Music Award Nominations for ‘Best Specialist Show.’ Tony also took on mentoring sessions in Canada and the UK. During that time was also a trusted member of The Brits Voting Academy, UK’s equivalent of The Grammys. In 2004 Tony was granted a Green Card from the US Government as an “Alien of Extraordinary Ability,” for services to the music and arts and relocated to the USA.

Today he is a published author and presenter and producer of his radio shows, The Promised Land and host of his ‘Moments That Rock’ podcast. As a TEDx and Keynote Speaker he takes his stories to corporate America, colleges and beyond, sharing those insights and the lessons learned from Rock n Roll.
